A rebel leader from Chojeon who allied with Kim Sami against the authorities.
Key events
Hyosim began a rebellion at Chojeon in 1193. An alliance with Kim Sami at Unmun brought separate resistance groups together.
Legacy
Government forces suppressed the uprising in 1194. Few personal details survive, but his name remains associated with resistance to Goryeo’s social and political order.
