In the Dangun myth, Hwanin recognizes his son Hwanung’s wish to help people. He gives him three heavenly seals and permits his descent.
Legacy
His role is to authorize the journey, not to found Gojoseon himself. This is a creation tradition rather than a biography of a documented king.
